WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be providing exceptional technical support to our vending equipment customers including setup, install, troubleshooting, repair, and training. You will partner with our internal sales teams providing valuable market and customer insight to help facilitate sales. Finally, you will be a liaison between our customer and our Engineering, Quality and Operations teams, providing them with valuable product quality information and “Voice of the Customer” via the submission of detailed quality reports.

The FSE will have a direct impact on the organization through.

  • Efficient use of their time based on customer need, as logged in their customer visit reports.
  • Create and submit detailed and timely quality reports that will be used by other teams to drive design and process changes.
  • Provide market and customer insight to our commercial teams.
  • Drive revenue generation through paid support, parts sales, and facilitating equipment sales.
  • Manage expenses per company guidelines, as well as managing car stock inventories.
  • Maintain focus on continuous improvement through researching and sourcing innovative, cost-efficient business solutions, and make process improvement suggestions to supervisor.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You will bring a thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles as they apply to the set-up, repair, and maintenance of vending products. Extensive knowledge of CPI products preferred. You will provide well demonstrated success with project management and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School diploma plus additional specialized training equal to two years college or technical school.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or technical field, preferred.
    • Minimum three to five years progressively responsible experience, in a similar position in the vending industry.
    • Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Strong time management and prioritization skills.
    • Experience managing a large geographical territory with overnight travel (typically up to 60%).
