Scheidt & Bachmann Elevates Freiham's ZAM District with Sustainable Parking Solutions

In Freiham, a new neighbourhood is being built on 350 hectares in the west of Munich, Germany.

In Freiham, a new neighbourhood is being built on 350 hectares in the west of Munich, Germany, where over 25,000 people will live and almost 15,000 will work.

The ZAM (ZAM: Bavarian for "together") is the district center of Freiham, one of the largest neighborhood developments in Europe. Sustainable transport infrastructure with flexible mobility options takes center stage here.

Terms such as "smart", "long-lasting" and "sustainable" are firmly associated with the project. The new ZAM district will be the center of innovation, modernity, and multifunctionality.

The 1,000 underground car parking spaces in ZAM will be managed by PARK ONE GMBH from Munich. The operator advertises with innovative and customer-orientated parking solutions.

Scheidt & Bachmann Parking Solutions Germany is happy to be part of this.
Our displays entervo.sign are used to greet motorists and display personalized information at the entrances. Entry is in free-flow mode, while the exit is controlled via barriers based on license plate recognition. The underground car park can be accessed on foot from outside via an entervo.key. In keeping with the trend, parking fees in the ZAM are paid exclusively without cash at one of the six entervo.cashless machines.

"Our aim is to offer both residents and visitors a seamless and stress-free parking experience that makes their stay at ZAM even more pleasant," enthuses Managing Director Andreas Mahnert-Lueg from Park One.

The opening is planned for mid-2024. We are delighted to be part of this forward-looking and innovative project.
