As an Operations Manager you will lead and contribute to the day-to-day management of the service operations for the southern region of GTR car parks. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organisation and support APCOA’s development in the South.

What you'll do:

  • Consistently explore new business growth opportunities and beneficial relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure that APCOA is well-placed to expand upon its service offering.
  • Act as the principle operational point of contact between GTR and APCOA
  • Manage, motivate and lead the Contract team
  • Address any areas of underperformance within the contract and put in place corrective action plans to address these areas
  • Work with the Contract Manager to ensure the contract’s budget and financial performance is realised
  • Work in partnership with the client and key stakeholders to provide innovative solutions and continuous improvement
  • Deputise for the Contract Manager where required

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in Operations Management and Supervision roles
  • Ability to develop beneficial relationship with clients, senior managers and key stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a confident and resilient nature and minimal supervision
  • Have a hands-on approach
  • IT literate with experience of using MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Well-developed people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
