Your tasks
- Audit planning and management: you plan the financial, operational and compliance audits and manage them on site in the business units/divisions.
- Audit execution: you perform detailed testing and analysis of processes, controls and transactions and evaluate internal policies and business processes for compliance and efficiency and assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Reporting and follow-up: you are responsible for preparing audit reports with findings and recommendations on best practices for risk reduction. You will coordinate the results with the audited units and local management. You then follow up on the agreed measures to reduce risk and improve business processes and assess the appropriateness of implementation.
- Risk assessment and internal controls: you support risk management processes and internal control systems. You will critically scrutinize risks identified in the process.
- Collaboration: you will support other auditors and work with business units/divisions across Europe to educate stakeholders on established procedures/controls to minimize risk.
- Continuous improvement: you proactively contribute to the design and development of innovative audit approaches (e.g. based on AI or data analytics) to reduce risks and ensure continuous improvement.
What you bring
- You have a degree in business administration, finance or another subject and have at least three years of practical professional experience in auditing (e.g. Big 4) or internal process auditing.
- As an assertive personality, you have strong analytical, communicative and cooperative skills and work in a results-oriented manner.
- You enjoy working in a team and are happy to travel internationally. Fluent and business fluent English is therefore no problem.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CIA or CRMA are desirable but not required.
