The Role
Life as an EasyPark’s Backend Software Engineer is all about creating top notch software solutions that meet user needs, solve real life challenges and thus moving us closer to our global vision.
Backend Software Engineer in Drivers Experience will face all aspects of serving the needs of an end user of EasyPark application - driver.
Ultimately, we want to provide a stable, secure and scalable product for today and the future. Our users will never consider alternatives to EasyPark once they have used our products and solutions!
Everyday life as Backend Software Engineer
- Together with a strong and supportive team you will plan and build new microservices
- Deliver technical enhancements according to the team mission and overarching goals of the company
- Effectively use automated testing strategies to accelerate delivery and constantly rise the quality of the product
- As part of rotation within the team provide ongoing maintenance and 24/7 on-call support
- Be the driving force behind the product innovation according to the strong product leadership approach aka “Empowered teams”
- Take shared responsibility for the team goals and product quality
- Deliver complex solutions as a part of the global leader in the parking industry with a multi million user base
Technical skills:
Competences listed in a prioritized order:
- Microservices
- Strong JVM knowledge and experience with Object Oriented Programming is required
- Java/Kotlin
- Experience in CI/CD
- Experience with Message Brokers (e.g. Kafka)
- Distributed teamwork experience
- Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes
- DB: PostgreSQL, ORM (Hibernate), Migration (Flyway or Liquibase)
- Testing: Experience with JUnit, Mockito, E2E, Integration tests
- AWS - good bonus

Fluency in English is required for this position, however Swedish is not needed.
