Field Technician (Hybrid, Seattle, US)

Flash is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to provide regional onsite support and exceptional service to our clients within the Seattle, WA region. In this role, you will be a crucial part of the Flash Support Services team, responsible for a range of tasks from installation oversight to complex problem-solving on various equipment types.

What You'll Do:
- Provide regional onsite support across multiple garages and parking lots, ensuring that all Flash equipment is fully functional and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Oversee onsite installation tasks including supporting installation contractors, making low voltage terminations, completing network installations, starting up and testing equipment, and providing onsite training to clients.
- Communicate project updates to the Project Manager and notify clients when repairs are complete.
- Document issues and resolutions daily in a ticketing system.
- Work with the manager to schedule and coordinate work and repairs for hardware failures that require contracted vendor involvement.
- Manage installations under the guidance of the Project Manager, fully understanding the scope and nature of each project.
- Commission and test all aspects and functionality of Flash equipment upon installation completion.
- Service, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, ensuring all hardware, systems, and equipment are tested and working properly before leaving clients' locations.
- Complete commissioning documents, provide onsite hardware client training, and handle other necessary communications.
What You Bring:
- Experience with increasing responsibility in a technical field, preferably in the parking industry.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong professional business ethics, including building and maintaining constructive working relationships, proactive and concise communication, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving while embodying Flash's core values.
- Familiarity with various gate manufacturers and model/types, enabling successful programming of multiple variations per project scope.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a technical field, preferably related to parking or mobility technology.
- Experience in customer success, project coordination, or technical roles.
- PARCS experience, Access Control/CCTV experience; CompTIA A+, Network+ certifications are preferred.
- Organized and flexible approach to work, with a clear track record of handling multiple priorities.
- A candidate successful in this role would ideally have strong pathways for growth within Field Operations or other roles within the organization.
- If required to drive a company vehicle, a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be conducted.
$27 - $29 an hour
Salary will be determined based on candidate's skills and experience level.
