Field Technician Lead (Hybrid, Seattle, US)
FLASH is seeking a Field Technician Lead to provide exceptional onsite and remote technical support while enhancing branch-level service operations. This role is key to ensuring the functionality and performance of Flash PARCS equipment, managing installations, and delivering outstanding customer service.
As a Field Tech Lead, you will oversee installations, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, coordinate with contractors, and provide client training. Additionally, you’ll document progress, communicate updates to clients and project managers, and support warehouse and commissioning operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical expertise and customer service skills.
What You'll Do:
- Provide regional onsite support across multiple garages and parking lots with FLASH PARCS equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system functionality.
- Oversee onsite installation tasks, including:
- Supporting installation contractors.
- Making low-voltage terminations and completing network installations.
- Starting up and testing equipment.
- Providing onsite client training.
- Communicate project updates to Project Managers and repair completions to clients.
- Document daily issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Coordinate work and repairs requiring contracted vendor involvement with your manager.
- Perform field service (50%) and remote service support (25%), reducing support cases and providing solutions.
- Support hot staging operations, shipment coordination, and pre-commissioning (10%).
- Assist with inventory and BIN management in warehouse operations (10%).
- Ensure PPE is worn and used in compliance with company policies.
What You Bring:
- Exceptional customer service skills with a customer-first approach.
- Strong focus, attention to detail, and ability to manage tasks efficiently.
- Experience with technical support and communicating with colleagues and clients.
- Proficiency in tools like Zuper, Freshdesk, and other ticketing systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and vendors.
- A commitment to safety, following FLASH University PPE policies.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of technical experience, preferably in the parking industry or a related environment.
- PARCS Manufacturing, Operations, Technical Support, or CPP certifications.
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.
- Strong understanding of parking operations, technology, and customer verticals (e.g., government, education, healthcare).Experience with PARCS, access control, or CCTV systems.
- Familiarity with parking, mobility, or commercial infrastructure is a plus.
$97,000 - $110,250 a year
Salary will be determined based on candidate's skills and experience level.
