Role Overview:
As part of the marketing team, you will be responsible for developing strategies and communications to bring our products to market, defining positioning, conducting market research, and creating training assets, sales tools, and go-to-market processes. Collaborating with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams, you will refine messaging and value propositions for HONK’s offerings. Your expertise in HONK’s products, value, buyers, and customer journey will drive Product Team decisions, support Marketing campaigns, and equip Sales with industry insights and competitive knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product and feature launches from ideation to execution, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Develop commercialization programs, including value mapping, positioning, and competitive analysis, to drive awareness, adoption, and advocacy of HONK.
- Translate product capabilities into benefits and compelling messaging that enhances sales/marketing/partner assets.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis; maintain a knowledge center for the revenue team.
- Deeply understand HONK’s customer and user personas to inform strategies that support growth.
- Develop customer profiles, identify use cases, map value, and create sales enablement materials.
- Shape long-term product marketing strategies as we expand into new verticals and markets.
- Educate internal teams and partners to solidify our positioning, value proposition, and personas.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a SaaS product marketing role, preferably within B2B startups.
- Proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information.
- Passionate about working for a purpose-driven organization.
- Customer-obsessed, representing the voice of the customer across product strategy decisions.
- Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over brand and product narratives.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams with competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office, and familiarity with marketing tools Salesforce, Google Adwords, and Google Analytics is a plus.
