The Details: 

Title: Enforcement / Patrol Officer (Non-Driving)

Rate: $18.92 per hour

Hours: Full-Time/ 8:30 am to 5:00pm Mon-Fri or Tues - Sat (No Holidays)

The Spirit of the Position:

The Enforcement Patrol Officer maintains a courteous and professional relationship with all customers, vendors, co-workers, and managers alike. “Treat others as you would want to be treated.”

Principal Job Duties:

Include but are not limited to the following, as additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Chalk tires of vehicles parked in unmetered spaces.
  • Following checking / patrolling schedule created with management input.
  • Issue parking violation and "parking owed" notices to vehicles without payment or valid permit, accurately recording vehicle information as required.
  • Treat all customers and coworkers with courtesy and respect.
  • Perform data entry, using electronic device.
  • Protect company property and/or equipment from damage or loss.
  • Report any vehicles meeting impound criteria to supervisor.
  • Complete an incident report for claims of damage or to document any unusual incidents during shift.
  • Accurate completion of shift reports, security logs, and any other such required documentation for each shift.
  • Accurate and timely completion and submission of timecards as required.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance at all times while on the job. Wear a designated uniform, and identification badge while on duty.
  • Regular, on-time attendance of scheduled work hours.
  • Ability to work overtime if requested.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma, or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Language Skills: Must be able communicate and comprehend effectively in English. Including reading, writing, and verbal communications. speaking.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Reasoning Ability: Able to apply common sense when performing duties and follow written and oral instructions. Ability to handle and resolve problems in a professional manner.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:

  • Stand, walk and / or run as needed.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel and / or crouch.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Work outside in various weather conditions.
