As Product Owner, you will work on a SAAS solution used by large multinationals (with 10,000 to 60,000+ employees) to visually organise and manage access rights to workspaces. In short: "Who can enter where and when, and why?" We develop our solution in close contact with our customers. You translate the high-level product direction to the software development team. You are very close to both the development processes and the customer and will specify and prioritise functions at the right level of detail. You do this partly from an understanding of the user you represent. In this position, you fulfil a Lead role and you are a catalyst in your function.

Your responsibilities

• Transfer customer desire: Transfer from Product Management to development process;
• Prioritize: Setting priorities with the aim of achieving a manufacturable solution within the schedule;
• Identifying opportunities:Retrieve knowledge from software development team, Product Management and the users in the market, thus identifying opportunities and challenges;
• Owner of the backlog;
• Retrieve feedback from customer;
• Representing user in development team;
• Balancing interests and thus stakeholder management;
• Provides input for sprint planning.

Your Team

As Product Owner, you are part of the Product Team. You work closely with the Product Manager, who gives the product direction at strategic level and in outline. As Product Owner, you make the translation to the Developers. The software development team consists of Backend, Frontend, Architect and Infra and is a mix of juniors, mediors and seniors.

We highly value team relationships and value good and clear communication, collaboration and sociability. We maintain a no-blame culture and always work forward. For example, we go to production with a new version several times a day! The team is young and dynamic and is constantly improving itself. There is plenty of room for own initiative.

Required experience and skills

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

• Experience: Minimum 7 years' experience of which relevant experience in a Product Owner role;
• Organisational experience: Experience within a Product organisation and you understand market needs;
• SaaS experience: Experience with SaaS solutions or within the SaaS context;
• Language skills: Besides good command of the English language, Dutch is a plus;
• Security sector: Experience with Security is a plus, but not necessary;
• Start-up experience: Experience in a start-up and/or new product development is a plus, but not necessary
