Imtech realises parking technology EC Soccer in Portugal

Gouda, 10 September 2003 - Imtech N.V. (technical service providing in Europe) announces that they received an order for the equipping of all parking solutions at the European Championship Soccer that will take place in 2004 in Portugal.
imtechblok1.gifWPS Parking Systems, the subsidiary of Imtech that specialises in parking technology, acquired the order. WPS is active in and outside of Europe with advanced parking solutions.

The order consists of three assignments, originating from the management of the stadium of FC Porto (in Porto), as well as the management of the stadiums of FC Benfica and FC Sporting Lissabon (both in Lissabon). In these three stadiums the patent parking technology BC 200 2® will be installed. This technology runs with a barcode system for entrance and payment. WPS (Imtech) supplies both software as well as hardware, such as barriers and payment systems. The scope of these orders amounts around two million euro.

The equipping of the parking solutions of the stadiums of FC Benfica and FC Sporting Lissabon takes place at this moment. The equipment of the stadium of FC Porto will be installed at the end of September. For installation and start-up WPS (Imtech) co-operates with Resopark, the Portuguese dealer of BC 200 2® parking technology.
