Quick Recap of July and August

The traditional "silly season" hasn't been so quiet for the parking industry.

Typically, July and August are quiet months, as people leave the office for their summer vacations, but 2020 has been a strange year and plenty has been happening in the parking industry during this “silly season”. There are been new appointments, completed projects, and even product launches this summer and at Parking Network our virtual conference and Quick Question video series have been as popular as ever.

From Parking Network

As parking occupancy rates plummeted during the Covid-19 lockdowns, parking facilities around the world were repurposed to host a variety of key services and leisure experiences. In our blog post, Al Fresco Dining, Drive-In Cinema, and Tying the Knot in a Parking Lot we shared six of our favorite examples of how parking asset owners, operators, and managers exercised their social responsibility and opened new revenue streams.

For the Summer Edition of our Parking Network Virtual Conference, we invited industry stalwarts and newcomers to present a range of parking services and solutions, from ANPR and parking apps to energy-efficient power management and parking guidance. After a short break, the Parking Network Virtual Conference will return for its fifth edition later this month as a host of new and returning parking experts take to the stage to keep us up to date with all the latest developments in the industry.

Caught on Camera

Over the summer, our parking experts shared their expertise on what makes the perfect customer journey and how the Lifting of Covid-19 Measures has been reflected in their operations?.
