Cleveland Hopkins Moves Ahead With New Gold Lot as Airport Overhaul Begins

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is preparing to break ground on a new parking facility as the airport begins a major transformation of its campus. The new Gold Lot will add 1,600 parking spaces and is expected to open in March 2027. According to airport officials, the additional capacity is needed as passenger traffic continues to rise, with Cleveland Hopkins now serving more than 10 million travelers annually. The lot will include passenger-focused features such as a covered walkway and shuttle service, helping improve access between parking areas and the terminal.
