Ontario Awards $198M Contract for New Ontario Place Parking Structure
The Government of Ontario has awarded a $198 million design-build contract for a new parking structure at Ontario Place in Toronto, marking another step in the province’s wider redevelopment of the waterfront destination. Pomerleau Inc. has been selected to deliver the provincially owned facility, with Arcadis Professional Services (Canada) Inc. serving as design lead. The new five-storey, open-air structure will be built on the existing parking lot south of Lake Shore Boulevard West. Once complete, the facility is expected to provide up to 3,500 vehicle parking spaces.
