Parking Panda teams up with Amtrak to offer commuters who plan to use Amtrak an easy way to find, book and pay for parking.
On parking.amtrak.com, users can type in any Amtrak station and the system searches for parking spaces nearby. The outcome is a list of available parking spots along with the location, how far it is from the station, prices, opening hours and services (for example handicapped parking spaces). When you decided where you want to park your car, simply click the ‘select’ button and book and pay by credit card for your parking space online. The website even offers photos of the selected parking garage, a map of the location and detailed information.
After payment you will receive a parking pass by email, which can be displayed on a smartphone (via the Parking panda app) or can be printed.
