Business Development Manager (Hybrid, Budapest, HU)
Tasks
- Opening up new European markets (e.g. Germany, France, Italy)
- Finding, acquiring and contracting National Distributor (ND) partners
- Conducting C-level (CEO, owner) negotiations
- Building and long-term management of strategic partnerships
- Managing hybrid sales processes (hardware + SaaS, recurring revenue model)
- Identifying market opportunities and developing a business development strategy
- Active participation in international exhibitions and business events
- Close cooperation with internal teams (product, marketing, management)
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of "hunting" sales experience, of which 5+ years in the Gate Automation, Perimeter Security or Access Control sector
- Live network with European National Distributor decision-makers (owners, CEOs)
- Confident Acting in C-Level Negotiation Situations
- Experience in selling complex (HW + SaaS) solutions with recurring revenue logic
- Business level English language skills (fluent)
- Independent, proactive and result-oriented work
- High willingness to travel (regular foreign negotiations, exhibitions)
- Graduate degree (economic, marketing or technical field is an advantage)
An advantage
- German, French, Italian or Spanish language skills
- Experience in a scale-up environment or market building phase
- Deeper understanding of SaaS-based business models
- Experience in building international distribution networks
- Gate automation Existing relationships with key industry players (e.g. Ditec, FAAC, Nice, Came ecosystem)
