Position summary

  • Technical preparation, planning, coordination and monitoring of complex international projects.
  • Mapping and interpreting customer needs from a business, functional and technical perspective.

  • Coordination of IT network, camera technology, transportation, electrical and mechanical system elements.

  • Technical support of the sales and bidding process, assistance in the preparation of offers, RFPs, RFIs and tender materials.
  • Preparation of technical specifications, system concepts, project plans, schedules, presentations and decision-making materials.
  • Independent management of customer meetings, needs assessments, professional workshops, presentations and technical discussions.
  • Preparation and coordination of pilot projects, proof-of-concept implementations, tests and system demonstrations.
  • Defining project goals, scope, milestones, deadlines, resource requirements, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate the collaboration between internal technical, development, product management, sales, service and project areas.
  • Liaising with customers, partners, integrators, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitoring project progress, costs, deadlines, quality requirements and risks.
  • Managing changes affecting technical or project scope, timely reporting of deviations and decision points.
  • Preparation of project-related documentation, status reports, minutes and executive summaries.
  • Participation in international on-site surveys, project launches, installations, handovers and professional events.

Features

  • You have a higher technical education, primarily in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, transportation engineering, IT or a related field.
  • You have several years of experience in preparing, implementing or coordinating technical projects.
  • Strong, systems-level technical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • You are at home in at least a few relevant areas, such as IT networks, camera systems, transportation solutions, electrical systems, or mechanical infrastructure.
  • Are you able to understand the operation of complex systems and the connections between individual technical areas?
  • You have project management skills and confidently manage deadlines, tasks, responsibilities, and risks.
  • You communicate and present confidently to professional, business and decision-making audiences.
  • You have conversational English skills, both spoken and written.
  • It is characterized by independent, proactive and responsible work.
  • You collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders from different professional backgrounds.
  • You undertake regular, sometimes longer-term, foreign travel to various parts of the world.

  • Proficiency in compiling RFPs, RFIs, tenders and technical proposals.

  • Knowledge of project management methodology or project management tools.
  • Knowledge of another foreign language.
