Acquisition Manager

Position in the organization

Reports to the Sales Director.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • You are responsible for identifying, building and maintaining relationships with municipalities, property owners and developers.
  • You proactively seek and create new business opportunities in the field of parking management and operation and convince potential new partners and customers with an integrated advisory approach.
  • You identify locations that are suitable for multi-year lease and operating agreements.
  • You will mathematically analyze locations, potential, and feasibility based on business cases – including sound financial substantiation and return calculations.
  • You prepare quotations and commercial proposals that meet customer and partner needs.
  • You will guide the entire commercial process: from initial contact to closing the deal.
  • You continuously analyze market trends and initiate adjustments within APCOA where necessary.
  • You work together with internal stakeholders such as Management, Operations, Marketing, IT and Finance for optimal project realization.
  • You represent APCOA at trade fairs, conferences and networking events.

What are you bringing?

  • At least 3 years of experience in a commercial (b2b) environment, preferably within the mobility, real estate, facility or parking sector.
  • Affinity with inner-city developments and associated developments in the field of mobility and technology.
  • A strong customer focus and a creative, service-oriented attitude.
  • A proactive, results-oriented and independent way of working.
  • Initiative and a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Commercial instinct and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the Netherlands.
  • Fluent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
