Are you looking for a job where you have high ceilings and get a lot of fresh air? Would you like to carry out parking checks in our parking areas and help drivers who have questions about their parking? Then you may be the one we are looking for as a parking attendant for Vejle.

We are looking for an employee for a position of 30-37 hours a week, in relation to what suits you. This is with changing working hours divided into day, evening and weekend shifts. Working hours are between 06.00 - 22.00

Depending on what is agreed with your group coordinator, your working day will start when you arrive at the emergency room or the first parking area on your route.

As a new employee, you will go through our internal training courses, and you will be assigned a contact person who will help you get started with finding security in solving tasks, and service drivers who use the parking areas. You will be part of a team where there is a good collegiality, which is characterized by daily communication and a helping hand if needed.

It may be an advantage, but not a requirement, that you have taken the AMU course "basic training for parking attendants". Regardless, we make sure to prepare you well through education and training.

Tasks

  • Perform parking inspections in parking areas managed by APCOA
  • Provide customer service to the drivers who use the parking area
  • Issue a control fee in accordance with the signposted rules on the individual pitches

About you

You thrive on a routine everyday life and enjoy being outside in all kinds of wind and weather, both summer and winter. You are willing to work and thrive on being physically active, as the work involves you walking a lot when you have to move between the different parking areas. In addition, it is important that you are an inclusive and open-minded person who manages to keep a cool head, even when faced with people who may seem agitated. In addition, you must be able to present a criminal record.

We expect you to:

  • Has an overview and works in a structured way
  • Are service-minded and helpful
  • Are self-employed and have a healthy work ethic
  • Speaks and writes Danish, Swedish or Norwegian
  • Can handle a smartphone.

    • The salary is DKK 177.85 per hour + supplements
    • Supplement on weekdays between 18.00 - 06.00: DKK 35.92 per hour
    • Supplement on Saturdays after 14.00 and Sundays and public holidays: DKK 44.59 per hour
    • An additional 9% is set aside for special savings, which are paid out twice a year
    • 6.75% of the holiday-eligible salary is set aside for SH payment
