Your role: Expert for successful public tenders
We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for complex tendering processes , administrative skills, and a service-oriented approach. In this key role, you will be central to winning public contracts and the link between our German clients (municipalities, public authorities) and our sales, operations, and international specialist departments.
Together with your manager, you will assume end-to-end responsibility for our entire bid management process in Germany and make a significant contribution to smooth and successful participation in public tenders .
Your responsibilities and tasks
- Bid Management: In coordination with your manager, you are responsible for the entire process from identifying and analyzing relevant national and EU-wide tenders to submitting the bid on time.
- Quotation calculation and preparation: Detailed calculation and legally compliant preparation of technically and commercially complex quotation documents (products, spare parts, maintenance contracts) taking into account the specific performance requirements of the client .
- Management and coordination: You coordinate the agreement between internal stakeholders (sales, legal, product, project teams, etc.) for the content-related and formal creation of the complete offer.
- Documentation: Ensuring the completeness and conformity of all tender documents, evidence and declarations of suitability.
- Process optimization: You will actively contribute to the optimization and digitalization of our bid management and back-office processes in order to increase efficiency in order acquisition.
- Data maintenance: Precise maintenance and updating of all relevant tender and customer data in the CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce).
Your profile: Skills and mindset that will move us forward
- Basic knowledge: Completed commercial training, a university degree (e.g. business administration/economics/law) or comparable qualification.
- Focus on tenders: Proven initial experience in bid management, sales, or sales administration with a focus on tenders from public authorities in Germany. Ideally, you are also already familiar with German procurement law (VOB, VgV, UVgO) and the common procurement portals .
- System affinity: Confident handling of CRM and ERP systems (ideally Salesforce) as well as Google Workspace.
- Work style: You work in a highly structured, independent, and detail-oriented manner to meet the formal requirements of tenders. You readily take initiative and are characterized by a solution-oriented and efficient work style.
- Soft Skills: You are a communicative team player with a hands-on mentality, who demonstrates resilience in dealing with deadlines and enjoys an international, dynamic environment.
- Languages: Fluent/native-level German communication skills and very good English skills (at least level C1) are essential for collaboration in our global team.
