Senior Account Manager - Off Street (Amsterdam, NL)
We’ve signed up to an ambitious journey. Join us!
As Arrive, we guide customers and communities towards brighter futures and more livable cities, it isn’t a challenge just anyone could take on. Luckily, we have something to help us make it happen. Our people and our values. We Arrive Curious, Focused and Together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star, the shining light leading travelers to their destinations since time began, our values guide us. They help us be at our best. For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let’s grow better, together.
As a Senior Account Manager / Business Development Manager – The Netherlands, you will manage and grow some of our most important partnerships in the field of mobile parking, while at the same time expanding our network of car parks. You operate at the intersection of key account management, new business acquisition and strategic growth. You will report directly to the Country Director and work closely with local Business Development colleagues and international stakeholders within Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance and Legal in a matrix organization.
This role is based in the Netherlands and has a flexible hybrid working model: you will work an average of two days a week in our Amsterdam office, regularly visit partners throughout the country and work from home the rest of the time.
Your impact
- Responsible for strategic partnerships: You will manage end-to-end relationships with our largest mobile parking partners, lead structured consultations, provide frequent business reviews and conduct commercial negotiations on contract terms, extensions and extensions.
- Expanding the off-street network: You drive acquisition by identifying new municipal and private parking garages, conducting contract negotiations, and then onboarding them.
- Full commercial cycle: You will lead the entire commercial process — from prospecting and outreach to contracting and a seamless operational handover.
- Data-driven market analyses: You will conduct in-depth market and performance analysis to identify growth opportunities and portfolio strategies and identify coverage or monetization challenges.
- Convincing business cases: You will develop strong, well-founded business cases and strategic proposals to create support among both internal leadership and external decision-makers.
- Hands-on execution: You are proactively involved in forecasting, continuous pipeline management and the execution of cross-functional projects.
About you
You are a strategic, data-driven and connecting professional who is energized by complex challenges and building long-term relationships. You combine an authentic look with a keen eye for market dynamics, processes and data. This allows you to effortlessly translate complex insights into clear, convincing stories for C-level executives.
You are structured and proactive and know how to navigate smoothly within an international matrix organization, while managing multiple impactful projects at the same time. You will be driven by digital transformation, valuable partnerships and the opportunity to directly contribute to more liveable cities.
Your background
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic key account management, consultative sales and managing complex partnerships.
- Demonstrated track record in new business acquisition, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder management at C-level/board level. Experience with acquisition within the municipal sector is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in developing data-driven strategies, building business cases, and working with CRM and data tools such as Salesforce and Looker (or similar platforms).
- Experience within relevant sectors: A background in SaaS, mobility, parking, payments, marketplaces, digital hardware or similar sectors.
- Education level: A completed bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Industrial Engineering and Management or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
- Language skills: Excellent command of Dutch at (almost) native level and a strong professional command of English.
Mobility: A private car is required for this position, as you regularly visit partners throughout the Netherlands.
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (hybrid)
