Senior Account Manager - Off Street (Hybrid, Amsterdam, NL)

We’ve signed up to an ambitious journey. Join us!

As Arrive, we guide customers and communities towards brighter futures and more livable cities, it isn’t a challenge just anyone could take on. Luckily, we have something to help us make it happen. Our people and our values. We Arrive Curious, Focused and Together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star, the shining light leading travelers to their destinations since time began, our values guide us. They help us be at our best. For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let’s grow better, together.

As Senior Account Manager / Business Development Manager – The Netherlands, you will manage and further grow some of our key mobile parking partnerships, while simultaneously expanding our network of parking garages. You will operate at the intersection of key account management, new business acquisition, and strategic growth. You report directly to the Country Director and work closely with local Business Development colleagues as well as international stakeholders within Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Legal in a matrix organization.
This role is based in the Netherlands and features a flexible hybrid work model: you work an average of two days a week at our Amsterdam office, visit partners regularly throughout the country, and work from home for the rest of the time.

Your impact

  • Ultimately responsible for strategic partnerships: You manage end-to-end relationships with our largest mobile parking partners, lead structured meetings, conduct frequent business reviews, and perform commercial negotiations regarding contract terms, renewals, and expansions.
  • Expanding the off-street network: You stimulate acquisition by identifying new municipal and private parking garages, conducting contract negotiations, and subsequently onboarding them.
  • Full commercial cycle: You lead the entire commercial process — from prospecting and outreach to contracting and a seamless operational handover.
  • Data-driven market analyses: You conduct in-depth market and performance analyses to identify growth opportunities and portfolio strategies, and to map out challenges regarding hedging or monetization.
  • Convincing business cases: You develop strong, well-substantiated business cases and strategic proposals to create support among both internal leadership and external decision-makers.
  • Hands-on execution: You are proactively involved in forecasting, continuous pipeline management, and the execution of cross-functional projects.

About you

You are a strategic, data-driven, and collaborative professional who thrives on complex challenges and building long-term relationships. You combine an authentic presence with a keen eye for market dynamics, processes, and data. As a result, you effortlessly translate complex insights into clear, compelling narratives for C-level executives.
You are structured and proactive, and you know how to navigate smoothly within an international matrix organization while managing multiple impactful projects simultaneously. You are driven by digital transformation, valuable partnerships, and the opportunity to contribute directly to more livable cities.

Your background

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic key account management, consultative sales, and managing complex partnerships.
  • Demonstrable track record in new business acquisition, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder management at C-level/executive level. Experience with acquisition within the municipal sector is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience developing data-driven strategies, building business cases, and working with CRM and data tools such as Salesforce and Looker (or similar platforms).
  • Experience within relevant sectors: A background in SaaS, mobility, parking, payments, marketplaces, digital hardware, or similar sectors.
  • Educational level: A completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Language skills: Excellent command of Dutch at (near) native level and a strong professional command of English.
  • Mobility: A personal car is required for this position, as you regularly visit partners throughout the Netherlands.
  • Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands (hybrid)
