IT Project Manager (Budapest, HU)

Introduction

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to join the team of Asura Technologies Zrt. , founded in 2017 and based in Budapest. Our company designs, develops and installs artificial intelligence-based parking, traffic monitoring and security systems worldwide, into which we integrate our own developed video analytics and license plate recognition software.

Asura is active worldwide, our most important market is the United States, and through our strategic partners we are present in many projects in several countries in Europe and Asia. In short, if you work for us, you build foreign trends at home. Our development is well illustrated by the fact that over the past 7 years, the team has grown from the initial 3 people to 200+ people and another 40 people work for us in the USA, and we also opened the German office.

 Tasks

  • Participation in the early stages of the project, in planning the scope and necessary resources
  • Development and execution of project tasks, delivery according to contract
  • Continuous understanding of user needs, thereby creating additional opportunities
  • Making project plans and keeping them ready for the day in cooperation with the development manager
  • Close cooperation and coordination with the client and with colleagues involved in the project
  • Active monitoring of the development process and preparation of up-to-date reports
  • Active monitoring of the project's performance and milestones and preparation of reports
  • Regular presentations to stakeholders in Hungarian and English

Expectations

  • Higher education
  • English language skills at negotiation level
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Experience in managing development projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (both in English)
  • High level of problem-solving ability in a fast-changing environment
  • Willingness to work independently as well as collaborate with other teams

Preference

  • PMP or other equivalent project management professional qualification
  • In addition to English, additional high-level language skills
