Field Service Engineer
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be working on car parking equipment (i.e., barriers, ANPR, ticket terminals and pay stations) for all sizes of car parks, maintaining the systems and installing new equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting customers and staff on site.
- Installing and commissioning car parking equipment as well as other additional equipment.
- Installing and updating car park management software.
- Servicing and repairing equipment on site.
- Investigating and testing reported problems.
- Performing scheduled service and maintenance calls.
- Maintaining spare parts for parking systems in your company vehicle.
What You'll Need:
- Experienced Technician with a knowledge and familiarity of Pay on Foot parking systems is an advantage.
- Experience of working with IT based client server systems including SQL databases, but this is not essential as you will be supported by IT technicians.
- A clean driving licence is essential as extensive driving will be required and it may be occasionally necessary to stay away from home.

Our client is the UK subsidiary of one of the world’s leading manufacturers of “Car Parking Solutions” and we are based in Sunbury on Thames. Customers include airports, hospitals, shopping centres, construction companies, local authorities and other operators. We now require a Field Service Engineer covering the North of England; you will work from home which will ideally be between Huddersfield and Leeds.
