This can be the opportunity you were looking for! We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our talented team in Italy and be part of our amazing growth journey. This is a unique opportunity due to the broad spectrum of the role: mixing sales and business skills and the person we are looking for not only that has the ability to establish new partnerships but also develop and maintain the existing ones.

In this role as an Area Sales Manager, you will have overall accountability of a large client portfolio, spanning the South Italy assigned area. You'll build long term strategic alliances and lead and guide the partners all the way towards full digitalization of their parking activities. In order to achieve this, it's key to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and effective stakeholder management skills. You'll be responsible for progress and results with our partners (mainly consisting of cities and private parking operators) and you'll be in close contact with CEOs of city-owned mobility companies and “Assessori” from Italian municipalities.

Through the data we collect, we provide new insights to cities and private parking operators allowing them to manage their assets in ways that has never been possible before. This is where you come in as to support this you'll need to be commercially driven with the ability to structure and present strong business cases for potential and current partners and have great influencing & negotiating skills. In this role you'll cover everything from analysis, initial customer prospect contact, pre-sales, negotiating agreements, and entails training the partner’s staff through the implementation.

You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with EasyPark’s global team so it's mandatory to have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

This role can be based in Sicily or Rome.

We don’t think one size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in business-to-business sales (B2B) and/or account management
  • Previous work experience with public administrations or Italian municipalities (Comuni)
  • Relevant University degree
  • Knowledge of a sales/CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Sugar) as well as basic office systems (e.g. word, excel, PowerPoint, email)
  • Experience in selling IT solutions (software, hardware, systems integration)
  • Italian mother tongue or C2 and a good level of English level B2 is required (the initial screening call will be in English)
