Construction Estimator (Austin, US)


Job Summary

The FlashParking Construction Vertical focuses on implementing parking access and revenue control system (PARCS) solutions & EV chargers in new buildings. The responsibility of the estimator is to support new construction sales by analyzing construction data to identify projects to bid. This is an entry-level role where the candidate selected will learn the estimator role. This position will be a great role for you if you are someone who understands the Flash product at an expert level. This position is suitable for some who possesses leadership characteristics and requires a team player who is a strong communicator, a good delegator who likes to check things off their list. You must bring strong focus, extreme attention to detail, and an overall strong project mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine if pre-qualifications in place with targeted GCs
  • Organize the contacts collected from awarded and previously bid projects to increase the estimator network for use in determining our best point of contact in bidding a desired project
  • Responsible for developing, receiving, and reviewing invitations to bid from general contacts and responding with an accurate PARCS quote by the given deadline.
  • Creating efficiencies for a clean knowledge transfer from sales to the project team, building and maintaining relationships with GC estimators, developers, and architects to secure additional bid invitations.

Essential Job Functions (5-7 primary responsibilities listed in order of importance with a the percentage of time spent on each to total 100 %.)

Education and Experience:

  • BA or equivalent in business, project coordination or project management experience.
  • Estimator experience or experience building quotes
  • Experience in Salesforce and construction software such as Bluebeam, Construct.
  • Connect, & Adobe Experience communicating with internal and external customers in a technical support environment.
  • Preferred Flash Product Knowledge, PARCS Industry Experience

  • Ability to participate in a team and implement processes which create efficiencies.
  • Amazing attention to detail.
  • Outgoing and has a “I’ve got this” attitude
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, SalesForce experience a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.

$56,000 - $60,000 a year
