Genetec is currently looking for a functional analyst. We are looking for a dynamic and efficient person who enjoys working in an environment where everything changes quickly. You will allow Genetec to stand out by providing its customers and business partners with value-added tools and portals. These new tools and portals will be closely linked to the various systems (such as organizational resource planning and customer relationship management software) already in place at Genetec.

As a functional analyst, you will be responsible for designing solutions based on business requirements analysis, performing gap analysis, evaluating the feasibility of a solution, preparing technical and functional documentation of the design, interact with the solution architect, developers, QA analyst and business analyst to ensure that this solution meets business needs. You will create functional design documents including mock-ups and technical details of the solution to facilitate transfer to the development team.

This position requires attention to detail and the ability to align needs with system capabilities.

A day in the life of the Functional Analyst:

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships and interactions with all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop functional design documentation that details the necessary solutions
  • Create functional specifications and prepare conceptual models and flowcharts
  • Review the solution design with the development team to turn it into concrete tasks
  • Analyze the systems in place and identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee product development according to specifications
  • Contribute to project management activities
  • Facilitate change and configuration management and create the configuration document
  • Monitor performance, identify gaps and propose necessary measures
  • Follow up and ensure software issues are resolved
  • Drawing on the Kanban method, enrich the knowledge base of Genetec systems and participate in the development of the implementation framework and management activities

To find out more about you:

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Dynamics (D365 Finance and Operations) products and customer relationship management software
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • 2 to 3 years of experience configuring and managing organizational resource planning software
  • Experience with implementing or upgrading organization resource planning software
  • Ability to act as a change agent, strong interpersonal skills and focus on customer service
  • Experience in a multinational business environment
  • Superior communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in French and English, both oral and written (this position requires interactions with our international colleagues and clients)

Expertise technique :

  • Experience with Functional Design and Analysis of Enterprise systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM) or F&O, SAP or other
  • Experience in systems configuration to adapt to business process
  • Experience in Training End users on news systems functionalities
  • Functional understanding of Microsoft Dynamics migration, integration & customization, Power App
