Technical Support Consultant (Hybrid, Oslo, NO)
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Consultant to join our team in Oslo. The Giant Leap paves the way for you and your ambitions. With us, your opinions and ideas will be highlighted, and small steps will be rewarded. You will assist in ensuring a stable and efficient operation of products that will be around you in society at all times, whether you are in the store or in a parking garage.
About the role and the product
We are looking for a service-minded and technically competent Support Consultant to strengthen the support around our parking solutions, which are a system for complaint handling and payment of control sanctions for parking violations.
Our cloud-based solutions are designed as SaaS platforms to deliver high availability and scalability. We deliver solutions to both small and large operators, as well as municipal and private actors. Our solutions are specifically designed for high accuracy and require minimal manual supervision. With ambitious growth plans, we now need a key person who can ensure that customers receive fast and professional help.
You will be a key person in maintaining customer satisfaction and play a crucial role in:
- First-line and second-line support for our customers and partners.
- Troubleshooting, analyzing and solving technical challenges in the system (both frontend, backend and integrations).
- Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with the development team (DevOps) to escalate and follow up on complex failures and contribute to continuous improvement of the system.
- Documentation of support processes, bug fixes and customer dialogue.
- With us, AI is a naturally integrated part of everyday work, and we have a strong focus on leveraging technology to deliver smarter and more efficient technical support. We are looking for you who are curious about the solutions of the future and who see the value in using tools such as Claude to optimize their own work processes. Experience with and interest in "prompt engineering" or active use of AI assistants in everyday life will therefore be a significant advantage in this role. All our employees have implemented and are exploring AI tools to create the best customer experiences.
We are looking for you who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service, and who want to take ownership of the issues you work on until they are resolved. You are a natural problem solver and thrive on communicating complex technical challenges in an understandable way to different users.
Who are you?
- Qualifications and experience:
- You have relevant IT education at bachelor's level (e.g. in IT operations, programming, or support). Relevant experience can compensate for education.
- You have good knowledge of Norwegian, both written and oral, and can communicate well in English.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical challenges in a structured and efficient manner.
- You have knowledge of cloud-based solutions, preferably AWS.
- Experience with troubleshooting in complex systems, logging and monitoring tools is an advantage.
- Experience, willingness and ability to work with AI are crucial
- Good knowledge of web services and integrations (e.g. REST) is desirable.
- You are efficient, and quality is important to you in all customer work.
Personal qualities:
- You are outgoing, service-minded and thrive in a role with a lot of customer contact.
- You have the ability to convey and discuss complex ideas and solutions with both technical and business-oriented individuals.
- You want to further develop your expertise in both support and technology.
What can we offer?
We offer a role where your efforts mean something for transport development, the environment, and make a difference for people in everyday life!
- A warm and inclusive working environment, with generous and helpful colleagues.
- A safe workplace with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
- A Visma family with countless colleagues, who across companies can share experiences and forge valuable relationships.
- A hybrid working day with a high degree of flexibility and independence.
- A number of good employee benefits, but to name a few:
- Good pension and insurance schemes.
- A fantastic canteen with breakfast, lunch and snacks.
- Lounge and own barista.
- Naprapath and masseur available in the office.
