Human Resources Administrator (Los Angeles, US)

Hourly pay $22.00-$25.00
The Spirit of the Position:
LAZ Parking is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our LAX team. The Human Resources Administrator reports to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner and responsible for maintaining the HRIS, managing employee files, adhering to compliance regulations and policies, and other office administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Record all personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, benefits, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics in HRIS and payroll systems for all employees; generate reports upon request.
- Update HRIS System to reflect all necessary employee status changes.
- Assist in recruitment for the region, including: recruitment, postings ads, resume screening and potentially interviewing.
- Answer and/or refer employee questions regarding Payroll, Benefits, Work/Life, PTO, Company & Union Policies etc.
- Manage all office administrative duties including but not limited to: ordering supplies, uniforms, helping with presentation assembling, keeping the office orderly and answering the phone.
- Perform other administrative/related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
Experience:
- 1-3 years administrative experience
- 1-2 years related HR administration experience preferred, not required
- Bilingual Spanish
- Union experience is highly desired
Skills:
- Prior experience with HRIS or other HR technology desired but not required
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, strong internet skills using external websites
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks through to completion in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with team members as well as independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time in order to meet set deadlines
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Attention-to-detail and high-level of accuracy required

- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
