What are you going to do?
Nedap develops advanced physical access control solutions and helps organizations protect people, property, and processes. As we shift to SaaS solutions and cloud-native platforms, we are seeking a Head of Marketing to set the vision and lead Nedap Security's global marketing transformation.
In this role, you'll play a key role in positioning and strengthening the Nedap brand within Security, as we evolve from a traditional access control provider to a software-driven security solutions company. Together with your team, you'll translate our strategic ambitions into clear positioning, creative campaigns, and effective demand-generation programs that strengthen our reputation and drive growth.
You'll be both a strategist and a team leader, inspiring and supporting a team of expert marketers to find new ways to connect with our target audiences. Collaboration is central to your success: you'll work closely with colleagues from Product, Sales, and Customer Success to build a shared, narrative marketing approach.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the marketing function during a crucial growth phase, and create the blueprint for how a European tech organization can scale a SaaS business in a traditional industry.
You will report to the Head of Commerce of the Security Business Unit.
Your responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and direct Nedap Security's global marketing strategy, ensure strong alignment between brand, product, and market approach, and lead the transition to a SaaS-driven business model;
- Brand positioning: Strengthen and clarify Nedap Security's positioning in the market by creating consistency and coherence in all communications and contact moments;
- Demand generation: Drive global demand together with your team through integrated campaigns, events, partnerships, and digital channels, and bring creative ideas to life that attract and engage customers;
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Product Management and Sales to achieve clear messaging, pricing, and packaging for all propositions;
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a marketing team that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, fostering curiosity, creativity, and collaboration;
- Market and trend insights: Monitor trends, competition, and new developments in SaaS, identity, and access management, and translate insights into concrete actions that support growth.
Your team
In this role, you'll guide and support a team of marketers who translate our strategic ambitions into clear and consistent brand and market activities. You'll create direction and rhythm for the team, ensuring all marketing efforts contribute to a strong and cohesive brand position.
Collaboration is essential: you'll work closely with colleagues from Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to align priorities and create impact together. As a member of the Commercial Leadership Team, you'll help shape the broader commercial strategy and foster a culture of ownership and growth.

Required experiences and skills
You are an experienced SaaS marketing leader with deep insight into positioning and scaling software-driven companies in complex B2B markets. You combine strategic clarity with the ability to connect people, foster collaboration, and inspire teams. You align diverse stakeholders toward shared commercial goals and create an environment where collaboration drives progress.
Your profile includes:
- 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, of which at least 5 years in SaaS or subscription models and 3+ years of leadership experience;
- Ability to connect people and lead marketing teams with energy and clarity, encouraging creativity, ownership and teamwork;
- Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for SaaS propositions, preferably in international markets and across multiple channels;
- Skilled in using data, insights and marketing technology to inform decisions, measure impact and identify new growth opportunities;
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology; experience or interest in physical security, identity, or access control is a plus;
- Comfortable in international, cross-cultural environments and able to adapt messaging and strategy by region;
- Experience with or understanding of Winning by Design and its application within commercial and marketing teams;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
