Where the journey began…

From humble beginnings when traveling back in 2014, our co-founders at Parkos embarked on our journey to ensure that the beginning and end of your travel experience are as enjoyable as the actual adventure between!

We make airport parking a smooth, seamless and efficient process for all travelers using our TravelTech price comparison & booking platform.

We started off by winning the major airports within the Netherlands and now operate in over 15 different countries and 3 different regions (and counting)! We’ve grown to over 120 Parkie’s and millions of travelers choose Parkos every year!

The team

The sales team is currently 14 strong (and counting) and strongly internationally focussed. We have account managers and country managers located in our HQ in Groningen, the Amsterdam office and also remote. In the weekly sales meeting, results and experiences are shared and successes are celebrated.

What you’ll do

As a member of the sales team in charge of the US market, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop a business strategy: you will be responsible for developing a successful business strategy for the US market. This includes identifying potential customers, determining the best methods of outreach, and developing a plan to handle the transactional tasks.
  • Finding new partners: you will actively seek out new leads for Parkos. This applies to both the American hotel industry near airports and parking providers.
  • Relationship management entails developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. You will need to maintain regular contact with partners, assess their needs and levels of satisfaction, and offer proactive solutions in order to ensure that partners remain satisfied and that their relationship with Parkos strengthens. Additionally, you will work with the partners to offer the Parkos client the best option.
  • Market analysis: It is important to keep up with changes in the US market for airport parking lots. This includes keeping up with trends, conducting competitor analysis, and identifying opportunities to improve Parkos’ market position.
  • Reporting and analysis: You will be held responsible for the prompt delivery of business results as well as the production of reports and analyses to get a better understanding of how well business strategies are working. You will be in a position to make adjustments and implement long-lasting improvements.
  • Collaboration: You will need to work closely with other team members, and you will be the point of contact for the development, finance, marketing, and customer service teams.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in the hotel industry is preferred.
  • With a proven established network within major hotel chains in the US.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Experience within a (national) tech company is crucial
  • Statistically qualified to analyze data and produce insightful hypotheses
  • You can translate data into Excel, spreadsheets, or Word
  • Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to recognize active problems and provide appropriate solutions
  • A willingness to learn new skills and knowledge while also learning how scale-up procedures work
  • Experience within a start-up or scale-up is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of business-related marketing, such as SEO and SEA, or the ability to quickly put this into action
  • Basic knowledge of internal development team processes, such as API connections, or the ability to do so quickly
  • Desire to succeed and be a key member of the sales team
  • You are ready to work independently and will actively report to the team in the Netherlands
  • Possesses the adaptability and willingness to manage tasks that are not on the task list from time to time
  • Possesses demonstrable expertise in building and maintaining relationships
  • You are currently in the US and the location is adjustable to GMT-6 (CST)
  • Minimum BA/BSc degree

Our target salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $130,000 per annum with an ability to significantly increase your earning potential through additional OTE.
