Position Summary

The Deployment Specialist will play an integral role in deploying the company’s license plate and vehicle recognition solutions. Our optimal candidate will be a self-starter that can learn quickly. General responsibilities will include installation of company hardware and software products, managing inventory, and providing customer support.

The Contribution:

  • Manage client relationships through the implementation and support process
  • Define specifications for the backend environment and storage requirements
  • Work with governing agencies to gain access to their designated hotlist
  • Write/update documentation and other content for customers based on feedback
  • Confirm that the hardware meets customer requirements for effective performance
  • Schedule, complete, and manage implementations for simultaneous projects
  • Responsible for timely response to inbound phone and email support inquiries
  • Appropriately escalate questions and concerns to the Sales or Engineering teams

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
  • Experience working with IP based cameras
  • Experience with the physical installation of camera systems
  • Ability to travel about 75%

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Desire to grow your knowledge in SaaS products and Linux
  • Ability to manage multiple complicated and evolving projects
  • Proven experience implementing software solutions across multiple architectures
  • Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written
  • Willingness to go above and beyond the minimum requirements
  • Fundamental knowledge of software, servers, and networking
  • Previous experience using a CRM tool
  • License Plate Recognition Experience
  • CJIS Certification

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 35 pounds. The employee must be comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet in a bucket truck or on a ladder, near and around power lines. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
