Electrical Equipment Technician (Riga, LV)

Do you enjoy understanding how different systems work and finding solutions when something goes wrong?

We are looking for a technically minded and responsible Electrical Equipment Technician to join the BISS team in a full-time position.

Your day-to-day work will involve access control systems, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras, vehicle access barriers, and car park infrastructure equipment. The role is practical and varied — from installing and configuring equipment to diagnostics and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Do

  • Install, connect, and configure access control systems, ANPR cameras, and vehicle access barriers.
  • Test car park payment equipment and prepare it for commissioning.
  • Diagnose equipment and resolve technical issues both on-site and in the company workshop.
  • Work with technical documentation and electrical wiring diagrams.

What We Expect from You

  • Technical knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, or low-voltage systems.
  • Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and work with technical documentation.
  • A technical mindset and an interest in understanding how different systems and equipment work.
  • Accuracy, independence, and a responsible attitude towards your work.
  • Willingness to work on-site and perform hands-on technical tasks.
  • Category B driving licence is preferred.
  • Previous experience with security, access control, or video surveillance systems will be considered an advantage.
