Overall scope of the role

We are looking for Business Development Representative to develop new business in the Americas. You are someone with a strong track record of selling SaaS solutions and managing a pipeline. The essence of this role is to identify and qualify new leads, develop revenue opportunities, proactively manage the selling process and close the sale in both existing and new accounts. You must have a strong network and people skills, the ability to connect with prospects, build relationships. Key responsibilities:

  • Manage key client relationships and grow share of wallet (retention and development) for strong satisfaction and loyalty
  • Build new client relationships (acquisition), open new doors to win “greenfield” accounts through cold calling prospects, networking, and referrals
  • Utilise HubSpot CRM diligently for an accurate picture of deals and customers
  • Develop compelling pitches, door openers, email templates and business presentations that generate leads and close business
  • BANT qualify leads and scope opportunities clearly, finding a fit between client objectives and the Sighthound portfolio
  • Prepare quotes and SOWs customized to each opportunity, ultimately negotiating, and closing the deals
  • Deliver customer presentations and demos to educate prospective clients on our value proposition, key differentiators, and how we solve their pain points
  • Increase our lead to win conversion rates, reduce sales cycle times and look for opportunities for “low hanging fruit”
  • Work with support and engineering for coordinated client communications and a great customer experience
  • Find and develop key partner/SI relationships, enabling channel sales

Necessary skills:

  • Familiar with lead identification and qualification, nurturing and closing
  • Ability to leverage industry contacts to drive incremental clients and sales
  • Expertise using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools to build connections
  • Experience seeking and utilizing B2B referrals
  • Proven track record of setting aggressive goals and achieving them
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, multiple languages a plus
  • Has prior experience working in SaaS and/or B2B tech sales
  • Has an “All-In” mentality. Cultivating teamwork and cohesion within the sales department
