Business Development Manager (Nieuwolda, NL)

Are you a commercial hunter with experience in complex technical solutions? Do you want to make an impact within an international market leader in access solutions? Then we are looking for you.

At SKIDATA, part of ASSA ABLOY, you help organizations optimize their operations with integrated hardware and software solutions for person and vehicle access.

Your role as: Business Development Manager

You are responsible for generating new business and building strategic client relationships. You actively open doors in the market, initiate and lead complex sales processes, and translate technical solutions into concrete business cases (including via TCO calculations). You negotiate at a high level, close deals, and continuously identify new market and growth opportunities.

You work together with 3 account managers and 3 sales support colleagues. This is a replacement role.

Your profile

  • Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level (commercial/technical)
  • Experience with the sale of capital goods or complex technical solutions
  • Hardware solutions with a software component (no pure software/SaaS profiles)
  • Strong hunter mentality and proven acquisition experience
  • Digital affinity
  • Comfortable at the executive level within larger organizations
  • Pragmatic, independent, and results-driven

We are looking for a sales professional with “sales in the DNA”. Not a project manager without commercial responsibility.
