Field Service Technician (m/f/d) Parking Systems

You will get our systems up and running in real operation.

At SKIDATA, you will ensure that parking and access systems run at the customer's site when it counts: install, check, find faults and put them back into operation immediately.

Your contribution

You are on the road in German-speaking Switzerland and work where our systems are in use.
If something doesn't work, you're the person who makes it stable again – calmly, pragmatically and reliably.

You work independently, make decisions on site and make sure that everything works in everyday life. The role combines electrical engineering work with IT/network technology in modern access systems.

What you do with us

  • You will install and commission parking and access systems directly at the customer's site
  • You look for faults on site and get systems up and running reliably again
  • You will carry out updates and adjustments so that systems remain stable
  • You support customers in their daily operations with clear technical solutions
  • You document your work cleanly and comprehensibly
  • You are part of the on-call service for quick assignments outside regular hours

What you bring to the table

  • Technical training (e.g. electrician, automation technician, electronics technician) and practical experience – you know your way around electricity, systems or systems
  • Good knowledge of IT/networks
  • You approach challenges pragmatically, work in a solution-oriented manner and also keep a cool head on site when things have to go fast
  • You like to work directly with customers, appear friendly and explain technical contexts in an understandable way
  • You like to travel in German-speaking Switzerland and have a category B driving licence

Why SKIDATA

At SKIDATA, you don't work in the background, but where the systems are really needed – in daily use at the customer's site.

You are on the road a lot, work independently in the field and see directly what your work does: functioning systems and ongoing operations.

  • You work with modern technology in the field of parking and access systems
  • You have a lot of personal responsibility in the field and organize your assignments yourself
  • You solve problems directly on site – your work counts immediately in the company
  • You will continuously develop your technical skills through practical assignments
  • You will receive a company car that you can also use privately
  • You will benefit from the stability and international opportunities of the ASSA ABLOY Group
