  • Implement the defined scientific communication strategy
  • Manage scientific communication projects and adapt launches in the EMEA region
  • Creation of scientific content/creation of various tools (videos, newsletters, press kits and advertorials)
  • Support and interact with EMEA teams (marketing, training, digital, CRM, public relations, etc.) to help them promote our expertise and scientific advances.
  • Optimizing scientific speaking elements and guidelines to support PR and e-PR services in different markets
  • Collaboration with our research centers (Japan and Europe) to support the development of innovations in the EMEA region
  • Write technical files as part of local EMEA product development
  • Define priority messages and claims per launch (summary valuation sheets) in collaboration with the marketing and training departments to ensure positioning consistency
  • Interact with content and event agencies
  • Lead oral presentations of scientific communication (internal and external)
  • Participation in the communication strategy with doctors (development of specific tools)

SCOPES AND PROJECTS TO BE MONITORED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE CDD (list for information purposes only and not exhaustive)

  • Scientific communication support for skincare brands in the EMEA region (Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, Ulé and Drunk Elephant) => participation in marketing thinking about positioning new launches, selection of the most suitable efficacy claims for the EMEA market
  • Organization and participation in the Beauty Innovation Summit (October 2024), a major EMEA event to strengthen the scientific reputation and innovative nature of the Shiseido group
  • Newsletter writing monitoring
  • Creation of scientific communication materials and animation of presentations within the framework of the “Training” seminar (October and November)
  • Writing of scientific promotion tools for dermatologists and implementation of an online platform
  • Organization of a “dermatologists” event on the sidelines of a medical congress (February 2025)
  • Content production and proofreading of “expert” newsletters in collaboration with the CRM team

Required profile


  • Scientific training (Bac+4/+5 in Faculty of Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering School, University) with advanced knowledge of skin physiology and cosmetic science (e.g. formulation).
  • A specialization or experience in communication or training will be an advantage.
  • >4 years of experience is preferable with knowledge of the cosmetics and skincare/beauty market
  • Public speaking skills and good teaching skills
  • Good command of power point and creation of educational materials
  • Skills in written communication and in popularizing scientific discourse
  • Ability to implement project management action plans
  • Mastery of bibliographic research and ability to synthesize
  • Proactive, creative, able to make suggestions with good interpersonal skills and effective communication
  • Excellent attention to detail, curious and aesthete
  • Collaborative spirit and great flexibility
  • Fluent English
