What are you going to do?

As R&D Manager at TKH Security, you'll be responsible for leading a team of independent application software developers. Your team will work on various products within multidisciplinary product teams, all sharing core software development expertise. You'll play a crucial role in providing leadership, management, and direction to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing, ensuring all product teams benefit from your team's skills.

Your responsibilities include motivating and supporting the professional development of your team members, aligning their growth with the organization's needs. You'll identify and address bottlenecks in the software development process, guide your team in solving these challenges, and oversee the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) to maintain high standards. You'll also collaborate closely with other key roles within the organization to optimize team effectiveness and continuously improve results.

Our R&D department

Our R&D department follows a roadmap developed by our product management team, which consists of several product managers (each responsible for a specific portfolio) and several product owners who work directly with cross-functional teams. This roadmap is based on a product line strategy shaped by stakeholder input and market research, and guides our development teams toward achieving strategic goals.

As part of the R&D management team, you'll work with another R&D Manager (focused on firmware and hardware engineering), the Head of Development , and the Scrum Master. Together, we'll ensure the R&D organization has the tools, skills, and resources to effectively implement this roadmap within an SSDLC. This includes, for example, keeping knowledge up-to-date, supporting skills development, and providing Engineers with what they need to deliver high-quality and secure results on time. Our focus is on effective execution, with quality, security, efficiency, and teamwork at the forefront.

  • Have a bachelor's degree;
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in management or as a Scrum Master, preferably within complex IT environments;
  • Have practical knowledge of SSDLC and software development;
  • Have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Have a perfect command of the English and Dutch language;
  • Have strong analytical skills for diagnosing problems and identifying improvements.
