Project Engineer (Zoetermeer, NL)
As a Project Engineer, you're the one who brings our Security Management Systems to life at dealers, customers and end users. No two days are the same: one moment you're working on a principle scheme, the next you're brainstorming with a customer about the best technical solution.
We are TKH Security
As a Project Engineer, you'll be part of our Projects department (part of Operations) and work closely with the Manager Projects. You're the link between a good idea on paper and a working solution on site. You dive into specifications, help think through the best technical approach, and make sure everything – from principle scheme to test matrix – is spot on.
No ivory tower here: you're regularly in touch with customers and partners, think along actively with the Manager Projects, and support the Technical Specialist Projects wherever needed. Step by step, you help bring our projects – big and small – to a successful close.
Here's some of what you'll be doing:
- Drawing up solution typicals and principle schemes, and creating connection, functional and test matrices
- Translating specifications into a functional and technical design – continuously improving the system design along the way
- Advising customers on the implementation of our products
- Taking care of product configuration and setting it up for partners and customers
- Keeping engineering documents up to date and providing clear reporting
- Drawing up installation and implementation instructions, and keeping an eye on progress
What you bring
We're not looking for a ready-made senior, but someone with a solid dose of experience and a healthy amount of curiosity. You have an MBO or HBO background in electrical engineering, and over the past 3 to 5 years you've picked up plenty of knowledge of Security Management Systems. You feel at home in AutoCAD, switch effortlessly between Dutch and English, and are just as comfortable writing a clear report as having a good conversation with a customer.
On top of that, you're result-driven, a strong communicator, and quality is always on your mind. You take ownership, are aware of your own role within the team, and enjoy helping others grow just as much as you enjoy learning yourself. In short: someone with drive and an eye for innovation.
On your CV:
- Vocational or bachelor's-level working and thinking ability (MBO/HBO), in an electrical engineering discipline
- 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Security Management Systems
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
What we offer
Besides a great place to come to every day, we of course also offer the things that matter financially and practically: a salary that matches your experience, a solid pension scheme and a collective discount on health insurance. You'll work from our modern office on the Dutch Tech Campus in Zoetermeer, with room to work from home a few days a week too.
But just as important: you'll join a close-knit team that believes in learning and building together. You'll get plenty of room for your own initiative and personal development, and we're happy to invest in your growth through internal training and courses – just as much as we invest in our products.
