About the role:

The Account Manager plays a key role in the development and growth of Unity5, through the nurturing and development of our existing client base across the UK.

Focused on loyalty and retention, you will build Senior Executives relationships focused on delivering customer value and build account plans to deliver expected strategic and commercial outcomes.

With strong commercial awareness and industry knowledge, a background and interest in technology and a desire to make complex processes simple, you will work across departments and hand in hand with the Customer Success team, to ensure customers are optimising their adoption of Unity5 solutions and services.

Role requirements:

  • Serve as the primary contact for your account base, ensuring you understand the key organisational touchpoints and have multi-level contacts (Senior Executives through to key users) in place.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, putting in place proactive communications to build trust and engagement.
  • Focus on client business objectives to understand their growth ambition, using your industry knowledge to suggest better ways of working through technology, driving revenue for them and Unity5.
  • Use the client objectives to create and, in partnership with the Customer Success team, deliver an account plan for your key clients, outlining long-term commercial goals, specific activities to achieve them, and any blockers to success.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure Unity5 product usage is strong within your account base and system set up is maximised to meet the objectives in the success plan.
  • Ensure maximum client engagement and long-term retention of accounts by holding formal account review meetings, working with the Customer Success team to prove Unity5 value through data, and creating a future roadmap of success.
  • Manage client escalations brought to you, by leading teams across the business to solve any issues quickly.

Commercial aspects:

  • Ensure all aspects of the customer contract are followed, working across the business to ensure all SLAs are met and contractual obligations are adhered to.
  • Regularly review commercial data for your account base, in order to highlight successes and areas for improvement, ensuring senior teams and finance are aware of any changes, risks, or issues to revenue streams.
  • Skills & competencies required:
  • Commercially focused, looking after numerous accounts, with a proven track record of meeting and overachieving on targets
  • Previous experience working with customers in person as well as remotely
  • Data-obsessed, you have a track record of building presentations that show value using data
  • Highly organised, you have a consistent approach to managing multiple accounts, contacts, and initiatives and completing them successfully
  • Proficient in business IT tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack) and CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.

  • Industry knowledge, you have the ability to understand regulations and working practices in the Parking sector
