Automated Valet software & hardware solutions safeguard vehicles and revenue
The activity surrounding a valet operation is always complicated. Customers come and go, employees clock in and out, cars arrive and depart and all of it has to be monitored for security, good service, and revenue control.
As customers enter the garage, the Video Processing package records their vehicles and scans for existing damage at up to 30 frames per second per camera installed. The video can be watched frame by frame and the images are linked to the ticket number that corresponds to the vehicle for easy identification.
When vehicles leave the garage they are first retrieved by a valet who scans his ID badge and the vehicles ticket. The system records the valets ID and confirms the ID is valid. The Garage Access feature also confirms the tickets validity making sure it is from the garages inventory.
If the ticket or the valet is not recognized by the system, exit gates will not open and the screen on the exit kiosk will inform the driver of the vehicle that it has not been requested and will not be allowed to leave.
The Garage Access and Video Processing features prevent fraudulent damage claims and vehicle theft two scenarios that have negatively affect on an operations bottom line. Automated Valet Founder and CEO Ken Gulec says good security creates loyalty and ensures quality service.Emergencies and lawsuits are time consuming and expensive, he says. Preventing them is a smart move and an easy one with this software and hardware.
AVPM comes with full and uninterrupted technological support from Automated Valet. The system never goes down so maintenance and operation issues are addressed nearly instantaneously.
