Civia are pleased to present interim results for the Group for the six months to 31 March 2005, during which we entered our second year as a public company with an encouraging performance.
Trading Performance
During the period, turnover was L49.6 million. Operating profits before amortisation, exceptional items and Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP") charges rose to L5.5 million, ahead of expectations as reflected by budgets for the full financial year. The focus on owned software related activities supported a growth in operating margins to 11.2% (2004: 8.4%). Basic earnings per share grew to 6.4p. The statutory operating profit was L1.8 million (2004: L0.7 million).
