Cubic Appoints Claus Klitholm to Head Cubic’s Nordic Office
SAN DIEGO, April 22, 2004 - Cubic Transportation Systems Ltd (CTSL), a subsidiary of U.S.-based Cubic Corporation (CUB:AMEX), announced that Claus Klitholm has been appointed as managing director for Cubic Nordic. Klitholm’s new position will take effect on August 1, 2004.
“We’re delighted that Claus is joining Cubic”, said Nigel Bryant, managing director, CTSL. “He brings energy and experience and will lead the drive to build on the exciting business opportunities here in Scandinavia.”
Klitholm’s work experience includes almost three years as managing director of Lokalbanen A/S, a train operating company that operates five regional lines in Greater Copenhagen. Klitholm, 40, is an experienced senior project manager who brings quality and environmental management skills to his new role. The experience comes from working in transport and engineering, all the more vital to Cubic as the company prepares to bid on a tender for a new system that will link all of Denmark’s rail and bus operations to a “smart” national travel card.
A Danish national, Klitholm will be based at Cubic Nordic’s Copenhagen offices. He speaks fluent English and holds an MSc and an MBA.
