Integrated Parking Solutions, Inc. Announces First Wireless Trial with the City of Cocoa Beach
Integrated Parking Solutions, Inc., the leader in the design, development and implementation of wireless parking technology, announced today that they have started a trial with the City of Cocoa Beach, Florida.
The purpose of the trial is to confirm the operational efficiency and the cost savings expected with the use of wireless parking technology. Forty-four IPS "MeterLink" wireless vehicle detection units have been installed.
William P. Dugan, IPS Chairman, said, "The City of Cocoa Beach uses Motorola's wireless network and Symbol Technologies' handheld ticket writing enforcement devices. IPS has tied those two technologies together using our hardware and software. This first test location has provided us with some very unique technological opportunities."
