Acquisition Amsterdam city centre car park by Bouwfonds Parking Fund

By way of a public tender issued by the Municipality of Amsterdam, the Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund of Bouwfonds Real Estate Investment Management will acquire its first car park in the Netherlands.
The acquisition involves the Kolk underground car park in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with a total value of approximately €44 million. The car park is situated in the heart of Amsterdam and will be operated by Q-Park under a 20 year lease. Fund Director Thomas Pohle said We are very happy with this acquisition. It is our first Dutch car park investment and one of the leading car parks in the Netherlands, at a prime location in Amsterdam.

With this transaction, the total fund value increases to €215 million. The portfolio currently comprises 18 parking facilities located in Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, the UK and the Netherlands.
