APCOA Expands AGS Airports Partnership to Glasgow
APCOA has been awarded a new three-year contract by AGS Airports, extending its parking and ground transport responsibilities across the airport group’s entire UK portfolio.
Under the agreement, APCOA will add Glasgow Airport to its existing operations at Aberdeen and Southampton airports, where the company has provided parking management services for more than a decade.
The contract includes the management of public and employee parking facilities, valet services and airport bus operations at all three locations. Services at Glasgow Airport have already commenced.
Kim Challis, Regional Managing Director at APCOA UK, said: “We are delighted to continue and extend our successful partnership with AGS Airports, delivering the highest operational standards for both staff and customers.”
The expanded partnership is intended to create a more consistent approach to parking and surface-access operations across the AGS network. It will also support the airport group’s efforts to improve operational efficiency and provide passengers and employees with a reliable, high-quality service.
Ruth Cousin, Surface Access and Ancillaries Director at AGS Airports, added: “We are pleased to be extending our partnership with APCOA across all three AGS airports.
“Their proven track record at both Aberdeen and Southampton, combined with their operational expertise and focus on innovation, makes them a strong partner as we continue to enhance the passenger experience and drive operational efficiency across our airports.
“Bringing Glasgow into this partnership marks an important step in delivering a more consistent, high-quality parking and ground transport offering for our customers.”
