APCOA Parking Awarded Contract Extension At East Herts
APCOA Parking (UK) Limited has been awarded a two year contract extension to continue parking enforcement for East Hertfordshire District Council.
The contract covers a number of towns in the district which include Hertford, Bishops Stortford, Ware, Buntingford, Sawbridgeworth, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield.
APCOAs team of 35 will continue the on street parking enforcement and daily cash collection from Pay and Display machines, with 24 Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) on patrol.
Managing Director Chris Pull encommented Weare very pleased that East Herts Council has decided to award APCOA this contract extension, in recognition of the quality of service and value delivered by APCOA. The contract extension has been awarded to APCOA well ahead of the expiry date of the original contract, which would have been January 2010.
We feel that this decision reflects the good work that has been under taken so far, the excellent working relationship that has built up and the confidence that this will continue in the future. Weare positive that we can continue to provide effective and responsive parking enforcement for the residents in these areas.
The extended contract is now due to expire on 16 January 2012.
