APCOA Italia Expands Its Presence with Two New Car Parks in Desenzano Del Garda and Santa Margherita Ligure

The new management, in collaboration with G7 Srl, brings technological innovation and digital services to two major tourist destinations

The Addition of These New Facilities Represents a Significant Expansion of the APCOA Network in Two Highly Valued Tourist Destinations.

APCOA Italia continues its growth path with the start of the management of two new strategic car parks: Parcheggio Lungolago, in Via Gramsci / Via Scavi Romani in Desenzano del Garda, and Parcheggio Riviera, in via Favale in the municipality of Santa Margherita Ligure.

The two car parks were previously managed directly by the concessionaire G7 Srl, with which APCOA has established a collaboration aimed at developing innovative solutions for mobility and parking management.

The addition of these new facilities represents a significant expansion of the APCOA network in two highly valued tourist destinations, where the Group was previously not present.

The Lungolago car park, located in the municipality of Desenzano del Garda, has 409 parking spaces, spread across two underground levels and two multi-story parking decks. The facility serves one of Lake Garda's main tourist destinations, which enjoys high traffic throughout the year.

The Riviera Parking lot, in the municipality of Santa Margherita Ligure, includes 252 parking spaces within the multi-story structure, in addition to 50 on-street parking spaces located in Piazza Martiri della Libertà and Corso Marconi. The parking lot represents a strategic infrastructure for mobility in one of the most renowned resorts on the Ligurian Riviera.

With the new management, APCOA Italia will launch a technology investment and service upgrade plan, aimed at improving the user experience and the efficiency of parking management. In the coming months, the main electronic toll collection systems will be activated, and signage will be progressively updated, with the goal of making parking even simpler and more functional.

Furthermore, starting today, in the on-street parking lots in Piazza Martiri della Libertà and Corso Marconi, on the Santa Margherita Ligure waterfront, it is possible to pay for parking not only via the parking meter but also via the APCOA Flow app. The app is free and allows for commission-free parking payments, offering users a simple, convenient, and digital solution. The introduction of this service represents the first step in the innovation process that will accompany the new management.

"The launch of the management of the parking lots in Desenzano del Garda and Santa Margherita Ligure represents a particularly significant achievement for APCOA Italia. We are entering two cities of extraordinary tourist importance for the first time, further expanding our presence nationwide and bringing our experience in parking management to high-value contexts. We are also proud to complete two additional projects that represent new opportunities for development and innovation for the benefit of the local community."

of the cities and their users, born under the coordination of our historic CEO, Arturo Benigna, who recently passed away, to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks once again.” Andrea Grassi, CEO of APCOA Italia

With these new acquisitions, APCOA Italia continues its growth path across the country, consolidating its presence and confirming its commitment to developing efficient parking services that meet the needs of residents and visitors.
