From Ambition to Action: A Landmark Year for APCOA
Emissions down 11%. A majority-electric fleet. A charging network up 43%. Our 2025 ESG Report is here – and it’s a story of delivery.
Some years are about setting ambitions. 2025 was about delivering them.
The APCOA 2025 ESG Report highlights progress you can measure. We cut our carbon footprint by 11% in a single year, and by 37% since 2021, reaching carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and 2 emissions across Europe. Our fleet is now 52% electric or hybrid. We installed more than 5,375 EV charge points – a 43% leap in twelve months. Today, 90% of our electricity comes from renewable sources.
But numbers only tell half the story. The rest belongs to our teams – and it looks like this: a parcel crossing Leipzig by cargo bike. A Berlin rooftop reborn as padel courts. Ultra-fast chargers rising where empty spaces once sat in Rotterdam. Air quality monitors worn by our officers on the streets of UK. Work that earned APCOA Germany the German Sustainability Award 2025 and saw our Ancoats Mobility Hub in Manchester crowned ‘Best New Car Park’ at the British Parking Awards.
None of it happens without our people – a workforce spanning 68 nationalities, safety incidents down 25%, and colleagues giving their time to communities across every market in which we operate.
“Sustainability is not an ambition for the future – it is a responsibility APCOA is proud to deliver on today,” says our CEO, Nicola Veratelli.
There is more to do. In 2026, we go again. To every colleague, client and partner who made this year possible – thank you. This progress is shared.
