APCOA Launches New Parking Services Contract with the London Borough of Barnet
APCOA, Europe’s leading parking and mobility services provider, began operations on a major new contract with the London Borough of Barnet on 1st November 2025 – the agreement will run for five years, with the potential to extend.
The new partnership will see APCOA deliver a range of parking services across the borough, supported by a dedicated team of more than 100 staff. Services will include on- and off-street parking enforcement, vehicle pound and removals, management of abandoned and untaxed vehicles, CCTV review, support services and maintenance of car parks.
Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) will be deployed across the borough 7 days a week using a sustainable all-electric fleet of vehicles and e-bikes. Four operational bases, located in High Barnet, North Finchley, Hendon and Edgware, will serve as the hubs for daily activity.
Back-office functions will be delivered through APCOA’s award-winning National Customer Service Centre, with trained agents managing notice processing, customer services and CCTV review on behalf of the Borough.
“I am incredibly proud of our APCOA teams for their dedication and hard work in preparing for the mobilisation of another significant West London contract,” said Kim Challis, Regional Managing Director UK & Ireland. “Our partnership with the London Borough of Barnet reflects APCOA’s continued commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the delivery of high-quality public services in this sector.”
Cllr Alan Schneiderman, Barnet Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment & Climate Change, said: “We’re pleased to be working with APCOA. The partnership will support our work to manage parking, make our roads safer for all, and provide value for money for our residents.”
